Mark Gates

London-born landscape painter. Mark studied at the Camberwell Art School under Sargy Mann and Dick Lee. From a very early on in his painting career, Gates oil paintings have attracted strong support with his natural Impressionistic style of painting that has been compared to Edward Seago, Marcel Dyf and Frederick Gore, with strong vibrant brushwork and heavy impasto paint. Most of Mark’s oil paintings have sold to collectors around the World.  Marks views are of popular places and buildings in both the South of England and Europe.
